We are about to commence a new project called Valuing Urban Wetlands with AURIN, the ALA and BirdLife Australia. It will draw on data generated by the Latham’s Snipe Project alongside other waterbird data contained with Birdata and provisioned to the ALA alongside other citizen scientist data. The aim of the project is to improve access to information about urban wetlands to raise awareness of their importance for biodiversity conservation (and human health and wellbeing). Latham's snipe project 
Hi Birgita,
FMBG would certainly like to know more. Especially as we are trying to protect our wetlands at the Melton Botanic Garden from fishing etc.
